Where can I stay
when I get to Alaska? ~
Are there
hotels & motels or just cabins?
Yes, we most certainly have hotels & motels! We also have inns,
cabins, bed and breakfasts and hostels. Believe me, there's no shortage
of lodging options. Prices & availability vary depending on the
season, location, type of lodging and rating.
Generally
speaking, the larger the Alaskan city the more varied the options -
from luxury hotels in Anchorage like the Hilton to any number of cozy
B&Bs and the more spartan, thrifty accommodations like Wasilla
Backpackers Hostel and Talkeetna
Hostel International.
If you
plan a road trip, you'll find many remote wilderness lodges along the
way. Well, some you'll find but others will not be available by road.
Many Alaska adventures begin with a flight to some remote lodge tucked
away in the mountains. As you might expect, these range from primitive
to plush and most offer excellent hunting and fishing.
