the Alcan Highway paved and it is safe to drive even in the winter?
A: Yes! Road conditions are usually better than most people expect.
Almost the entire length of the Alaska Highway is asphalt-surfaced.
Of course you'll always want to be alert for moose, caribou, porcupine
and bears that might cross the road in front of you.
