Anchorage
is where many Alaskan adventures start and what could be more exciting

In Fairbanks
and surround area is The University of Alaska Fairbanks Museum, the
Musk Ox Farm, The Riverboat Discovery, El Dorado Gold Mine, Chena
Hot Springs, and Alaskaland historical park.
About
45 minutes out of Fairbanks is the famous Chena Hot Springs Resort.
Few visitors
to Alaska leave without visiting Denali where they find themselves surrounded
by an environment filled with abundant wildlife including bear, fox,
caribou, moose, wolves, and sheep. Here you can enjoy whitewater rafting,
flightseeing, horseback riding, hiking, dog mushing and gold panning.
Palmer
is the home of the annual Alaska State Fair where local farmers display
their world renown vegetables.
Seward,
Alaska, gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park and the scenic drive is
only a little over two hours from Anchorage. If you'd prefer, the Alaska
Railroad has scheduled service. As well there is scheduled bus or air
transportation. As you leave Anchorage heading south on the Seward Highway
you'll follow the north shore of Turnagain Arm through Chugach State
Park and Chugach National Forest with a beautiful view of the Kenai
Mountains.
The
Alaska Marine Highway offers an alternative with a ferry trip or
a combo drive/ferry trip. Drive or walk aboard in Bellingham, Washington
or Prince Rupert, BC. Plan stops along Alaskas Inside Passage
and get a feel for some of Alaska's colorful history. Sailings are scheduled
monthly during the summer and less frequently during the winter. Check
